Maybe they'll contract it out to Pinnacle!

I believe the chances of sports wagering coming to Ontario casinos are very good.

It wasn't too long ago that "craps" was illegal in Canada due to some old obscure federal law on the books from when the British ruled the nation.

The Canadian government was approached by the provinces to allow dice games in casinos and the feds changed the law to allow craps in casinos.

I have to believe that this will put pressure on US border casinos to offer sportsbooks as well.

When the Casino's in Windsor, Ontario & Niagara Falls, Ontario opened neighboring US states, NY & MI swore they would NEVER allow casinos in their state, but after watching their citizens cross into Canada to gamble and see so much potential revenue heading out of the US and into Canada they changed their stance.

Now Niagara Falls NY, & Detroit MI have casinos to compete with the nearby Canadian casinos.

Yep, it'll happen. Then prostitution will be the next sin to tax.

Prohibition should've taught these bastards a lesson.

Why is it takin' so long?

Well, casinos a represent big money, when they need something the government listens, prostitutes have no power (or money) so I wouldn't hold my breath for that to happen.

Ontario does already have some sports betting through the lottery, but it is not good value and relies on odds based parlays. Most of the casinos in Ontario are run by the lottery commission, so this is not a real stretch for them.

IF this happens, and it will, the next SBR bash needs to be in Canada. Good beer, great weed and fresh air.
