Actually, if you wrap carbon paper around cash, it won't pick up on the xrays. I still would advise not to send cash in the mail, however.

Agreed. I would never send cash in the mail but it is done all the time. I receive cash a lot in the mail. I sell a lot of merchandise on line and you would be surprised how many people do it. As long as it is wrapped up in a paper or something it will get there. Like I said I would never do it but its done a lot.

i am confused here. the kid is getting a compliment because he paid a bet? since when do we congratulate people for paying a bet? isn't that what's supposed to happen. is it expected that when you win, you get stiffed and when you get paid, you should report it and thank a person?

so from now on, when matchy pays me, i should celebrate and come here and tell everyone they paid me and that they're honorable. come on man..

but one thing for sure, is this kid iwin did a very silly thing by sending cash in the mail. i did this when i was a young lad a few yrs back and send 200 cash for a friend for his wedding gift, and the kid never called me to thank me.. i was not happy. then i find out 6 months later when i asked him if he got it, he had no idea what i was talking about. he swore he never got it. and i dont know if he is lying, but he probably isn't. they stole it.. some mail kid probably saw it and pocketed it. what a fool i was, NEVER AGAIN. this kid probably thinks i made it up to try to save money. so now, i paid 200 for nothing.

this is very risky.. if it was lost in the mail, there would have been a big problem when iwin says he sent it and richie says he nver received it. iwin will now look like a stiff and richie won't believe he sent it, and no one will know if iwin is making it up or not.

thank god it worked out good, cause this could have easily been a disaster.

Ive sent cash in the mail after the post office closed many times as a last resort. There is nothing really wrong with it if you do it right.

I would take a piece of dark paper and put the money inside it and fold it a few times so its in the middle of it and even up to a light you cant see the cash.

The Odds of not getting it are VERY SLIM.

it was actually a good thread because 1 week later, i had to send Richie 20 bucks in the mail and after telling iwin he was crazy to put cash in an envelope and send it and that i'd never do it, i ended up doing the same thing and thought for sure it would never make it, and it did..

You gotta use a blank piece of paper put the money in the middle of the paper and fold it so the money doesn't come out. Then get one one of those envelopes with the markings on the inside not the plain white see through sht.
