Just something to consider 'Stros backers from an Astros fan (unfortunately). Backe threw a season-high 108 pitches vs. BOS last time out in 5.1 IP. He's thrown 100+ pitches 4 times this season. Thrice following such efforts, he got beat up for 5 ER & lasted no longer than 5 IP.

Him, Zito, Martinez and Nate Robertson should have their paychecks cancelled and make em sue to get paid.
