MLB Red Sox Or Rays First 5

The value play is on the Rays, but I love being on the Red Sox who are suddenly in a flat-footed tie with the Yankees coming off a 1-2 Seattle series and having had a day off.

Their Game 1 lineup is the same as their playoff lineup will be - I'm fairly heavy on Boston ML despite laying -165 against a good pitcher and hot team (Rays).

Boston Lineup is stacked for the Noon game.

Last I checked Longoria for some reason wasn't listed for game 1, but now he is.

I don't bet first 5. But I'm sure just like the game, it's a coin toss.

He's missing his spots considerably and had trouble putting away hitters with 2 strikes.

I hope he settles in but this looks like his last few starts to me.

You can if you want.... wouldn't be surprised to see Sox win like 5-1 though.

odds are no good - have to ride this one out.

shields had an EASY 1st though and Lester won't last past 6 at this rate though. I think Rays win this game 6.5 out of 10 times right now. It's not about the score, it's about the pitch count and how Shields and Lester each look.

I'm on the under 8 for game, so I'm not liking how Lester is looking either... but I remember a game where Shields was cruising and then Oakland put up a 10 spot on him... and I remember shaky Lester starts that he lasted 7 and turned it into a great start.

I wouldn't worry. I think this will be a 3-2 type game either way, but I"m not sure who wins it.
