Wow, thanks to PittPlayer and everyone in this thread. I've gotta be honest, I woke up this morning and was feeling a little weepy about turning 30. It seemed like such a non-event when it was just another upcoming day on the calendar, but now that it's here I can't help but recognize the ineffable quality that accompanies its passage. Right now I'm overwhelmed with the sense that somehow I lost a part of myself in this transition, even just psychologically, but my hope is that by the end of the day I can say that I found something new within myself to take its place.

Thank you again to my friends here at SBR. I've been a part of this place for 4.5 years now, and while it hasn't always been smooth or pleasant, my life wouldn't have been the same without it, or all of you.
