    Francoma = Pete Rose?
Wow, tell me this guy didn't throw this game.

He takes out Dice K who was cruising after only 5 innings... then puts in his setup man Okajima in the 6th.

Decrapman surrenders a leadoff double in the 7th, a steal and fails to cover 1B. But doesn't yank him until he loads the bases. Then in comes Hansen who also can't find the strike zone and walks in couple of runs.

Sox get a rally going in the 9th.... then he inexplicably sends Lowell to steal 2B, when he is slower than a 3 legged tortoise, with 1 out and gets thrown out by 20 feet. Game over.

I hope he won enough gambling money to buy a bubble gum factory. I mean he absolutely killed that wad of gum. What a douchebag.

It wasn't a steal.... It was a hit and run, however Varitek didn't make contact which meant Lowell was screwed

DICE K is on a strict pitch count, and his bullpen absolutly blows except for his closer

Cruising? Daisuke's pitch count was at 101 and he couldn't find the strike zone.

Okajima's been dreadful lately in the 7th/8th inning role.

Would you have preferred he bring in Hansen sooner? Who do you want him to go to? They have exactly 1 capable reliever in the pen at the moment.

Any other brilliant observations from the game?

Take it back DK....Pete only bet to win!!!! I know the guy from NY that took his action, he never bet against the Reds. That is a fact, and dont ever compare the great Pete Rose to a ****ing hack like Terry Francona!

isn't it nice to see Tampa be able to fill the stadium with the help of guys like Francona. These games are so rigged you have to be an idiot not to realize it.

2 hits and 5 walks..... he didn't need to find the strike zone.

In his 1+ year with the Sox he's had 20 games with 110+ PC. One more inning would not have killed him. It would have helped with the bullpen situation.

Okajima's been dreadful lately in the 7th/8th inning role.

Even so, he's still their 2nd best reliever. You don't waste him in the 6th inning and leave yourself vulnerable until Papelbon. I mean when Papelbon struggled, he didn't pitch him in the 7th did he?

Would you have preferred he bring in Hansen sooner? Who do you want him to go to? They have exactly 1 capable reliever in the pen at the moment.

How about the guy who actually got an out, Lopez?

If he would've allowed Dice-K to pitch one more inning, he wouldn't have had to extend his bullshit pen.

It's called a hit and run.

Oh great, hit and run with a slowass mofo and a guy who struck out 3 out of 4 times.

Any other brilliant observations from the game?

                    No, maybe tomorrow.

Francona is so overated he makes Carmelo Anthony look under hyped.

He leads the Phillies to four straight disasterous losing seasons where the best they can manage is a long 3rd, and then is basically handed a WS winner in Boston. Yeah they came back against the Yankees, but to be honest, a monkey could have won with the great chemistry of that team.

Then he tanks the Sox out of the playoffs in 2006 despite a superior team.

Without Ortiz/Manny completely healthy in the middle of the lineup (which is unarguably the greatest 3/4 punch in the history of modern baseball) this guy makes chewin 'bacco look better than his club.

I can't believe the Red Sox covered the runline, I feel so happy now. I started drinking some smirnoff during the 7th inning and then lied down after the disaster inning was over and fell asleep. Just woke up and I felt so happy when I saw the ESPN sportsticker say they lost 7-6. I had alot on the runline and I guess the saying is true. It ain't over till its over.
