We all come here because we have made friends here, gambling advice, tips on games, a cool odds program, spreadsheets, a wealth of info etc...there is an sbr poker app and you can earn points etc to buy some cool shit in the store etc...whats the big deal about depositing 200 bucks?!? I cant fuckin believe people want something for free all of the time. It's really pathetic that a site you probably visit multiple times a day, are playing in the free contests etc, use the resources of the site that you wont support the forum by posting up...i think its a very fair trade and who says you are going to lose the 200 anyways?!? JMO

In sure that the changing of gambling laws within last 12 months was always going to impact upon renewal rate. Less options was always going to equate to less revenue. However to be fair SBR is doing their best to give posters more options when it comes to reasons to renew and it most definitely is still worth the $200....

Or maybe some people don't care at all about playing poker on SBR, trivia, contests, or any of the "benefits" of being a pro. Even the points at 12 per day means 83 days of logging in for $70 in sportsbook cash (Call it a little over $300 cash per year, but at a 3x rollover). That's 84 cents a day.
I come to SBR to talk shop with a handful of other posters, gaining and sharing insight with knowledgeable people regarding specific games and strategy. The pro program benefits players with small bankrolls and little experience by giving them opportunities to get involved, which is great. But... for anyone with 3+ years of experience and more than a few thousand dollars to work with, the pro program doesn't offer anything of worth. The posters that contribute to the forums in a meaningful way are often the ones that are, themselves, winning players and the smallest of this demographic might lay $2000 in bets a week. Don't mistake a disinterest in being a pro for inability to deposit $200.
So even though I understand that SBR is running a business and more traffic = more revenue, it would be nice if SBR would somehow expand the pro program to accommodate and include more seasoned bettors. Attempting to recruit this group with the current SBR-pro program is like offering a Discover card to someone with a Black V I S A in their wallet...Comment -

There are countless threads dealing with not getting enough from SBR etc...like Beat the Prick inst as good...its fuckin free...why are these guys complaining.....i understand what suicidekings is saying and he is right for the high rollers etc..but if your not contributing with actual good threads with insight etc than you shouldn't be complaining about not getting enough this or that jmoComment -
us pros dont have as many things available to them as non us pros and do you realize how much sbr makes off of all of us here they get a % of all our losses in the sponsor books and we generate how much they can charge their sponsors because of all the traffic from all of the posters i do think its a great site but to deposit into one of their sponsors for a few extra points????Comment -

I'll be renewing mine before college foots, expired this week, didn't feel like running to Wally World to reup another book for MLB so will do it last week in August. Even though I wasn't planning on playing at 5D this year and the fact I don't trust them in the current offshore situation, I'll do it just to support SBR.
With that said, the whole pro thing has gotten out of hand. Pros think they are big time or something, its $200 boys, hate to burst your bubble... you're not big time just because of it. And its really no one's business and this thread is weak IMO.... You do not know about others' personal life and they may choose not to become pro for valid reasons.
