say i think a game is going to land on 8, is there any books that take game to land exactly on 8 for + whatever..

the reason i ask is i've had over 5 parlays this year.. that were over 8.5, lose and land on 8 exactly...

    its ******* sickening

I dont think any books post this prop... Maybe one of the european books, I remember will hill and Bet365 posting some odd total bets.

You could just bet two totals

    Under 8.5 and Over 7.5

It lands on 8 and you win both bets

But it's a losing proposition in the long run, dont play it just to "protect" yourself from getting screwed on parlays.

yea i know, but it just seems this year so far i've lost a 5k parlay, 2k parlay, a 100 dollar parlay, and 500 dolllar parlay..

on over 8.5 and the game landed on 8...

and i hear ya on the 8.5 and 7.5 but how often does a book really move a full run?

5Dimes/Sportsbet offers alt line about a run in either direction.

right, you can buy a point on totals or a or a half point to even move o8.5 -105 to o8 -135 or something like that. that way, if your parlay just barely misses by this total that is 8 exactly, the winnings are just reduced instead of non-existent.
