his name is overrated and so is the price oddsmakers give on this clown. he was -190 today for no reason to the same team that beat him last week when he was -220.

oh ok. i thought you meant in general because this year he has been the 12th best AL pitcher according to fangraphs WAR excluding tonight's data.

i was listening to a podcast and they said all of these so called must win games are way overvalued on these teams because the squares will bet them. especially on monday night when people like to parlay those heavy favorites with MNF. the books make these lines in this situation to where for them to lose money the red sox would have to sweep the series.

good year, sure but it's by far the best of his career in terms of whip and era and he got pummeled in his last two starts (era went up .39 runs) even though he didn't hit 200ip...clearly running out of gas

in fact he's only hit 200ip three times in his career which considering he's been portrayed as an ace for a lot of his career is kind of a joke
