why do people post their picks well after the game starts?

Huge pet peeve of mine.

At another forum there's a dude who posts 4-5 picks in the 4th inning, every night. when people ask him why he posts so late he claims he was driving home and didn't have time. But his picks almost always win cause they always happen to have leads when he posts.

Then he would bump his threads celebrating everynight.

A lot of people do but it's not always on purpose.

For instance someone can be returning from work and be half hour late etc, or just commenting on a game as they get online. So long as posters don't post after start time and log that into their records, I don't feel there's anything unethical going on.

If they do not add them on their records ... then theres no harm ... but if they do, stay away from them.

I remember during the NCAA finals I once past posted one pick on Oregon because I got stuck in Atlanta traffic and everyone made a big deal about it because it was late. I since realized some people either fade you or follow you.

We are going to have a way to verify everyones record who wants to be verified. Of course you can have different category of picks like the infamous 5star picks or track 3,2,1 units plays or maybe just NFL, NCAA, MLB. But they can only go in before the game and the records are permanent.
