That's how I concluded my preview on the Rays when posted on March 24. You can do a search on '2008 mlb preview' and find all 30 teams with preseason lines and odds.5Dimes has the Rays listed at +2800 in the AL East, compared to +12500 for the Orioles, a gap that seems ridiculously large to me. Tampa is +5500 to win the AL and +8500 to prevail in the World Series.

There is no way the Rays are making the Playoffs. They are so overrated. All they have is good pitching. Their offense is slightly above average. The Yanks and Sox are way better.Comment -

i have seen almost every game they have played, they play the right way and they get clutch hits
