They've managed to shrink the 99 cent menu to next to nothing to still maintain the illusion of a 99 cent menu, you can get a small fry and a jr cheeseburger now, the double stack (twice the size) which used to be on the menu is now a $1.49, you cant even get the 5 piece chicken nuggets unless you get the spicy kind which taste like dog shit, I swear they wont sell you the regular for 99 cents, I asked what the difference is I just dont like the spicy they told me the spicy is cheaper bc its new, I responded maybe its cheaper bc it tastes like shit

Go into a Wendys and see the 20 things that used to the be the 99 cent menu they are all now a $1.29 and up, they're down to like 5 things like a small frosty, small fry, small drink, jr cheeseburger. As long as you only want to drink 4 ounces of soda after the ice takes up 80% of the volume and eat a jr cheeseburger that takes 2 bites then I suppose they still have a 99 cent menu

The monterey chicken sandwich and crispy chicken (I think its still 99 not sure) are the only value left on that 99 cent menu, unless you eat inside and get the small drink for 99 cents then just refill it 5 times, the small fry for 99 cents is okay

All thats left is a kiddie menu for 99 cents, jr cheeseburger, small fry, small drink, the next stop from here is complete elimination

If you actually go into a Wendys you can see where virtually the entire 99 cent menu has been changed to $1.29 but yes in commercials they will brag about their jr cheeseburger which is about the size of a krystal burger being 99 cents
