Problems again with Trivia

I know SBR doesn't take any of the trivia threads seriously because i never get any responses to them, but i had yet anther problem today. i had the right answer selected and i hit enter this time, but it said i didn't get it in time for some reason, i know i had some time left SBR.
Its no fun anymore that the system keeps screwing me over, has happened a lot in the past 1-2 weeks.

Well, I gave a reset, the most I could do. No way for me to know if you did have time left or not.

Hello I had this problem aswell, my trivia froze on 1 second and there was nothing I could do but close the page.

GAMBLOR - this would be the result of you not allowing enough time for your answer to be received by the trivia server. I've seen John say several times that the safe zone is about 15 seconds - if you let the clock run down any further than that then you run the risk of your Internet connection not sending your answer in time.

SoV, if Rod didn't happen to see your post in here, please send me a PM and I'll leave a note with Admin for your trivia to be reset.

thats funny cause i coulda sworn i saw lou just recently say that unbeknownst to the user there was an upgrade to see exactly how much time had elapsed when the question was answered.

yea, I accidently went to sbr on my Phone, where the pop up response on the opuch screen is wonky and timed out on some stupid 10 pts question ...

Your question and your last week's are taking the full 20 secs. If your computer is slow or there is a lag sending the info back to us it could cause it to expire if you are close. Our only advice is to to answer before the final ticks. If you really dont want to get the trivias anymore we can shut it off for you.

I just did the trivia got the first question right answered the second and it said server time out or something like that. Basically it had an error when I went to answer and there was definitley more time left

It's Trivia...not "SBR Free Point Giveway".....the reason your time is running out is because your searching Google too long

i thought it was just me... i swear to god, the exact same thing happened to me last night.. SBR, you can check to see i am not making it up.. it was the 50 pt question and it was easy too.. I pressed the correct answer, (Matt Hasselbeck).. and it said time ran out.. wtf??? sbr, i am owed 50 pts. i know it's only 50 pts, but man, i did get it. investigate it and you'll see i am right.

This was the 1st time this happened to me.

me thinks all this bitching about trivia "failing" and "timing out" will result in the removal of trivia entirely before the end of this calendar year
