Getting real sick of this daily grind called gambling........
I feel so fed up right now. Just sick of losing every other day cause some punkass bitch decides to play like an ass and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I wish I had quit earlier this year when I was up close to
$15k. Of course I didnt and lost it all.

Then I built it back up to $10k, only to lose it all again.

I recently built it back up to $7k and now blew it all again.

I know I can eventually build it back up again but what's the point. I will blow it all again because I don't know when to just walk away.

Sounds like you need to psychologically pretend you're broke all the time to keep yourself from making bad bets, get to 10k pretend your broke, (psychologically) build back up to 10k (20k total) pretend your broke again, repeat cycle

Didn't you go "all in" on the EURO final? That's the problemo. Don't go all in and you won't lose all those winnings.

Agreed, if you really went "all in" on Germany you clearly have a gambling problem when you get ahead

It's not because of that. I've posted a lot more winners than losers.

But my real problem is I procrastinate. I said in Germany-Turkey thread that I'd go all in if Turkey scored first and they did. But I procrastinated and didn't bet in time before Germany tied it and the opportunity was long gone. Same thing with Spain vs. Russia. I said I'd bet on big on Spain but waited too long again. Last night, I loved Ancic but decided to wait and fell asleep and didn't bet. Cost me again.

I've had other winning bets where I didn't bet in time because I was distracted and lost track of time. One time I went 2-0 but didn't win any money because a friggin rattlesnake was attacking my dogs just as I was about to bet and it was way too late after I killed it.

Seriously, If I had just bet everything that I had posted here, I'd be up big right now.

You could apply the same logic as you would a good run in the market. When your up x percent from the start (predetermined amount 10,20,30, etc.) pull some off the table. Keep that trend going until you either want to progressively wait to take more or take it all off the table. Just my .02

I used to do that where I'd withdraw $2000 everytime I win $3000. But I stopped for some reason. I think because I thought more money available the more money I'd win. But of course I'd end up losing it all back.

Son you seem to have bad money management, it is all about a business. It seems you have the syndrome bet until you drop. Son if your a junkie gambler needing a fix gambling is not for you.

The sports betting grind can be beautiful (as long as you're winning). But it is a GRIND. It would be much easier to get a square job and settle for a bi-weekly paycheck (at least your money's guaranteed).

To each is own. I personally love it. I find that it keeps my mind sharp.

I bet the Nats one time and it won as a 3/2 dog. So you're off base to use that as an example. I've made some bad bets but that wasn't one of them.

Your betting too much money......period. 1% of the population can gamble professionally for a sustained period of time. Your not included in that 1% pal. Neither am I.....neither are 99% of posters on any forum.

Add up your losses above. You could have purchased a 3 series BMW.....or a nice used Corvette. Down payment on house. All gone.

Pat , for a young buck I dont think you should give people any gambling advice. You are too young to know squat about gambling. Were you not the guy that bet 15 team parlays every night ?

Even the worst team wins 70 games.

It was a great situational bet considering Nats had their ace on the mound (Nats won 8 straight when he starts), Angels best hitter Vlad was out with the flu and Angels hadn't swept b2b series on the road in 6 seasons. Nats never trailed and would've won more easily if not for couple of errors.

You're not going to win much money betting favorites all the time, not in baseball.
In no other sports does dogs win outright more than in baseball. Just like the Astros yesterday.... at +160.

try the every day life of horse race betting if you think betting sports daily is tough...LOL...let me tell you from experience....at least in sports there is a SMALL chance to grind with good money management

people try to do it with horse racing and end up bald by 30...I know a few myself that go everyday

sportsbetting is the best bet in gambling HANDS DOWN

why do you think the United States government said its perfectly ok to go broke playing state lotteries?...and horse race tracks?...and remember its ok to go broke at indian casinos

but it destroys kids and family to place a sports bet....LMFAO...nice try Uncle Sam

you go to casinos...in a sportsbook...FREE DRINKS for the horse players...."oh sir you arent playing horses?...dosent matter you bet 10dimes on this game...you need a drink token"

its the ONLY wager 'they' are scared of....I WISH I could be someone that ONLY bets on sports....my lifetime win/loss ratio would be in the win column by far

for the man who can 'grind' it out betting sports only...I commend him....for he is a smart man...smarter than me

Dags got classic gambler go broke disease, you have to be extremely strong mentally to get up and stay up and not blow it all back on shit bets like Germany +160 in Euro Finals, that's classic type of bet you make when you've hit a bunch in a row and feel invincible, gotta keep your head screwed on and bet low when you are action crazy and making low reward high risk bets like that

Run your sports betting like a business for best chance for $$$$.

If you run it like a compulsive hobby, you will be broke every time.
