Good luck to the US Army fighting three simultaneous wars in middle east and central asia. It can't be done without a draft. Do you think that if there is a war with Iran the insurgents wouldn't cross the border from Iraq in the east and Afghanistan from the west and fight us in Iran? The terrorrists stalk the US Army where it goes, not the other way.

While it may be that the crude peasant fighters for the Taliban will deter an American/Israeli assault on Iran (and for us $300 a barrel oil) it would be foolish to pooh-pooh the influence of Israel on this particular president
He is weird, no doubt of that. And whether his subservience to Tel Aviv is religiously motivated (all that creepy "rapture" stuff) or that the Israelis have compromising photos of him (what really happened in his long, private talks with General Sharon - or did Dirty Dick's lez daughter once pose for some wild pics?) it is a matter or record that the Israeli lobby and govt are just about batting .1000 with Winnie Jr and Big Dick.
Both Israeli and Iraqi sources have reported that Israeli warplanes have been flying over both Jordan and US-controlled Iraq. And that the Israeli planes have been landing (at night) at the US base in Iraq, Nasiriyah.

Israeli warplanes have been flying over Iraq and landing at US bases there in preparation for an attack on Iran, Israeli media reported yesterday.
Israeli defense ministry sources said that, for a month, the fighter jets have been practicing at night in Iraqi airspace.
Retired Iraqi army officers in the Anbar region reported that the jets were seen flying from Jordan and landing at an airport near Haditha.
Last month, US sources disclosed that more than 100 Israeli jets and other aircraft took part in practice runs to the eastern Mediterranean Sea that demonstrated Israel's ability to strike a target that far away, the same distance from Israel as Iran.Comment -
And that's why Iran is launching practice S-300 anti-aircraft missiles in war games to deter such action. Unless they incapacitate the S-300 with sabotage the Israeli jets have no chance without Uncle Sam.Comment -
