I've been dealing with this phantom data on my GF's iPhone. It uses a crap load of data through the middle of the night. AT&T can't explain it other than accusing us of using the data. Thing is, AT&T nor Verizon can tell if the data use is of our doing or theirs or apple's doing. Theres no way to tell what app/program is using the data. Research it. Then call them and get them to credit your acct. That's what I'm doing. Oh and FYI when your phone goes into sleep mode it kicks off of wifi and uses cellular data to save battery life (according to apple). So you're actually using data when u think you're on wifi.

1. Turn off apps that u dont need.
2. Make sure to turn your mobile network off when not in use.
3. Go to adroid.com
4. Watching video & listening to music uses 150 & 80 mb per use.
I used 65% of my data the 1st 6 days

Androids have an app killer app you can DL to prevent unwanted data use. iPhones done have such an app. I have unlimited $30.

Get an app that tells you what and how much each program/app is using for date then you'll see the culprit.

The Motorola Droid Pro, Droid 2 & Droid 3 all have physical keyboards as well as Mobile Hotspot functionality. The earlier Droid Pro and Droid 2 have a standard 3-row QWERTY layout, while the latest Droid 3 has a 5-row layout just like your computer with dedicated number keys on top and spacebar/function keys beneath the letters.

In addition, The Palm Pre 2 has a QWERTY keyboard, and while their webOS environment is lagging behind Android and iOS in terms of adoption and app creation, their user satisfaction scores (just for the webOS operating system, not the phone hardware) have been off the charts, nearly double that of every other platform.

sprint is worth it over straight talk...better phones but a phone is only as good as the network and straight talk rides at and t's network.....I also like Virgin Mobile but again the network is sparse
