Hi, this is my first post here... But I've been reading SBR for quite some time, and almost every day, there's a post about a bookie scamming, setting betting limits, etc..
But guess what? In almost all of these cases, 1 of the following appears:
========================================
1. The user is from an unstable/high crime rate country/area such as Romania, Nigeria, Russia, etc... Which DO legitimately cost a lot of money to businesses around the world due to fraud, etc.
2. The user has clearly abused bonuses/referral schemes by making new accounts under the same IP, referring immediate family members and trying to quick-cash out the bonus
3. The user didn't input correct info when he signed up, put a fake name/address/telephone number.. And when asked to verify ID, he's now screwed.
===================================
I've won some $6500 this year from various sportsbooks, even from some that are classified as "B-", but my account was never limited, only one book verified my ID by telephone call (SBG Global), and even though almost 30% of that profit comes from a single book which I wont name, they haven't placed any limits on my betting.
The formula:
1. I always register to each sportsbook with as honest info as possible, my real address, etc.. I don't get involved in bonus schemes unless it's ridiculously easy to clear, and definitely don't try to cheat the bookie out of bonus cash
2. I'm registered from a stable country. Now this is something you might not be able to affect yourself (understandably), but that's just how the world sadly works. The ideal country would be any Nordic country because they have the lowest rate of fraud, thus bookies trust them the most.
