Spot on. It's the little brother inferiority complex. The USA's military might is well known world wide and if you mentioned Canada to the rest of the world I'm sure the response will be "what's a Canada?". I doubt most people in the world would even know they are a sovereign nation. Oh, I forgot the Vancouver Olympics put them on the map and they won a bunch of medals in sports that the world only gives a crap about every four years. That's like showing off a first place ribbon won at the science fair, seriously nobody cares Canada.
