    3 Strategies That Will Help You Win a Majority of Your Bets
    Let me introduce myself to you sports betting enthusiasts. My name is Sean Dingman and I have 15 years of sports handicapping experience. Many of you may already know me through my username. I am President of a sports handicapping service based out of California but I rather not mention the name because I am not here to promote my service. I am here to discuss certain strategies and elements that can help you win your sports bets. My journey to this industry started as a young boy who looked at gambling to make money and let me tell you at that age not knowing what I do know it didn't go to well. So let me teach you what I learned over the course of the years so you don't make the same mistakes.

    I will be posting a new thread once a week with new information that you must know, especially if you are new to sports betting. If you have any questions please feel free to reply to this thread and I will attempt to answer each and everyone of you

    3 STRATEGIES

    1.Money Management Backed With Patience- The first thing you need to implement right away is a managment system that will not allow you to get carried away. Understand your financial situation and set yourself a monthly limit. To start off you should bet the same amount on every game. Remember there is no such thing as a "Lock" or a "guaranteed winner." Therefore every bet you risk should be the same no matter what the juice is on the game. Furthermore, you should bet around 15% of your monthly budget on each game you play. An example of a good money management system would be the following scenario.

    Budget= $500/month
    Risk= $75/game

    If you are not confident enough to bet the spread on a game after doing extensive research then stay away from it. Don't risk more to win less by taking the moneyline on the game. Don't be fooled and tell yourself, well at least I will take them moneyline because I know they are going to at least win the game. Moneyline bets with high juice anything over -135 is not considered to be a value bet and if you lose, youre going to lose big. Don't bet everyday just to bet and watch the game because you are bored. If you really want to make money in this buisness than you must be patient and discipline and NEVER get emotional even after a tough loss that you feel you should have won. Stay consistent, wager the same amount you are comfortable with on each game, only place bets on games that you are willing to bet the spread and NEVER get emotional.

    2. Due Dilegence- A very important factor when betting is doing your homework and research on the team you are placing your bet on. For instance in football lets say you are going to bet the Giants. These are some questions you have to get answered for yourself before laying your bet.

    How do the Giants typically play in the cold/heat/rain/snow as a team?

    How is Eli Mannings accuracy in those weather conditions?

    Is the Giants stregnths on defense and/or offense going to be evened out with the opposition because of the weather condition?

    Injury report updates- How does the backup play and can he hold the fort down for that position or will it expose major weakness in certain areas that the opposition will be able to employ?

    How does the team respond when playing after a win or a loss?

    These are just a few examples of information you have to research

    Bottom line- Know the team you are betting on and do extensive research. This is where discipine kicks in and where winners are separated from losers.

    3.Home Court Advantage- Home games weigh such an advantage for the home team in any type of sport you bet. Now obviously with home court advantage comes a larger spread that must be covered. A value bet often times can be found in games where the home team is an underdog and you can still have points in your favor. For instance, Atlanta Hawks vs San Antnion Spurs. This line would probably be San Antonio -6 points. Well guess what a lot of people see it as oh Spurs by 6 is a for sure lock. NO, NO, NO that is a sucker bet and most times than none the Hawks will cover that spread defending home. The Vegas system is not prefect and sometimes there are lines that come out that are favorable to you and me. Those are the games to jump on. VALUE BETS! Remember those two words.

    I hope you found this information to be helpful and I will continue to post more threads at least once a week.

          Great advice, but is humanely possible to not chase after taking a bad beat.

                  Here is the thing boss. Everyone hates losing and everyone wants to make their money back especially after a tough loss. You have to come to an understanding with yourself though. If you bet for the sole joy for the sport, then my thread probably wont make sense for you. However, I've learned the tough way that the best way to make profits in sports bet is to be patient and bet one game a day. Do your research fully, be confident on your selection and place a bet that is affordable. If you lose, take the loss as a buisness transaction and come to it again tommorow. Tommorow isnt going anywhere but once you start chasing you are acting on emotion and your judgment is clouded. If you follow this strategy week in and week out and know sports, you are def going to win more than 50% of your bets and thus profit. Good luck.

                        I advise no one to follow that monthly budget and 15% crap. Go by what you have, not by what you have each month. If you NEED to break it into months because you can't trust yourself with a certain amount of money, don't use 15%. Absolutely anyone can tell you that betting 15% of your roll each game is absurd.

                          Good money management to put 15% of your monthly stakes on one match?

                            this kid doesn't have a clue about gambling. his whole goal was to come here and con some little kids to send him money.. why else would he be here and take time off whatever he does to help a bunch of strangers.

                            notice how he starts off by saying he is president of a big sports handicapping service based out of california.. and then he puts his email on the bottom..

                            why the f-ck would he give out his email so 124 people email hiim and ask him questions for free and he would answer all of them? who is this guy, the pope? what a great guy.

                            he was here ONLY to try to make some money.. this was too obvious, and we probably will never see him again..
