    Picks Mean Nothing Without Records
We are all guilty of this, 90% are in red if tracked. The best bet thread is only legit thread because records tracked by a neautral party. Madcapper knows tennis but must be down 30 units this year with his picks here. I guess the picks we post are just for discussion but by no means should have any value. It is just a daily indicator of what posters are on.

All true. Which is why LT is probably the only one here with following value.

Monthly contests and individual threads keeping your own record are also a good way of finding records for players.

I haven't tracked my record in years. I don't care anymore at what clip I am hitting. Either your in the money or your not. Tracking records is for those that want to show other people how good they are. I gave up that side of my gambling personality long ago.

I wouldn't say everyone here is in the red and the best bet thread only limits you to one bet a day so you can't really go by that, because other wins might outweigh the loses. I followed LT from the best bet thread and he went like 0 - 5 it was ridiculous and now he's back to his win streaking ways but he can't seem to get past 21 units. Also JJ is right I see way to many threads like going big on this or take this pick to the bank etc.. and when you go in the thread it just says Red Sox -155 or Tigers +120 no reason what's so ever just to pick it. Only solid info is if they put up a write up on why they like this play or if they show there record which they could be lying so you have to do your own h/w. If you see someone posting picks and you just track there record on your own than you can decide to follow them on future picks.

Diogee, LT, rjt721, Myself, gyno, Crazyl's tennis, St. Andrew, pags, amongst many other good cappers on this site, carry around records that are updated daily, and some even carry it around in their signature like a war medal.

GG, when you see people post picks without a write up, it is usually because they arent looking to push people in one direction or another. They are usually just asking if someone is on the same side. Or maybe someone knows something about the game that they didnt see, so they should take another look at it.

As far as people posting: LOCK OF THE YEAR. or 5 STAR PICK. Then thats different.

Best bet thread is a good indicator.

The MySBR site coming up should help with documentation.

JJ, Bill gave me an intro as a boxing insider a couple weeks back and threw my pick in Players Talk for everyone to see and I followed up with a no brainer pick at +165 (I got +200) this past weekend on the Paq-Diaz undercard. It's right here as I left it under Boxing/MMA, perhaps I should have brought attention to it, but it's being officially tracked now, and you'll note that I started with a hypothetical 5K bank roll and we've started off 2-0. Logic included.
