I think its tough to put a central team ahead of the giants and braves.. they definitely have the bats, but it seems to be a pitchers league... I dont see any of those central teams being able to keep up on the mound... it would be a different story in my mind if wainwright was healthy

it is certainly not tough to put mil or stl ahead of SF. both teams have enough pitching to limit sf lineup and clearly have better bats. Phi is tougher and im not putting anyone ahead of them, just think that will be their biggest test. Anything can happen in playoffs and both teams have enough firepower to beat anyone if they hot at the right time.

far as braves? please, they have no shot at either mil or especially stl.

dumber than an idiot. beltran is nothing but a has been with one good post season. he will hit some home runs and get hits by chance standing up there swinging. he will make negative difference in a lineup that cannot score.

it was a short pop fly that barely made it to the outfeild... rollins tried to catch it over his head but missed it. Ibanez was right there tho so sandoval had no chance at advancing

Amazing how much shit they get on here though. The kind of comments that most make on here, you'd think that the Giants were fighting it out with the Orioles and Astros to get the #1 draft pick next year.

These guys are still top of their division (well, only just ) and have a pretty favourable schedule coming up - 15 of their next 22 games up to the end of August are against the Pirates, Padres, Astros and Cubs (who are surely due to return to their shitty ways sooner rather than later). Although there is still plenty of baseball left to play, this team will once again will be fighting for a berth in the postseason, which isn't too bad for a team of supposed scrubs that can't hit.
