This is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen or heard of.A guy I used to be close to that was totally addicted to every form of gambling where it ruined his marriage,estranged himself from his kids and his siblings for using all their future inheritances because he got all the money his mom had and used it for gambling now went cold turkey on gambling after everything is gone.Actually,his wife was an ass because she left the guy a few weeks after his mom died when it was found out that the nice chunk of money she once had was not to be divided in inheritances because throughout the years the guy mooched it from his mom to gamble with.
So now the guy hasn't gambled for about 3 or 4 years and every casino from Vegas to online sportsbooks wants his business back and his mailbox is full of generous comps every day.I'm talking no strings attached everything like free luxury rooms,free meals,free $200 sportsbets,free everything.The guy has so little will power where even though he could stand getting stuff for free because he's not well off,he can't accept the stuff because he would be back to gambling again.
I told the guy who's just in his 50's that I would make it my life's mission to take every freebie comp a casino offers just to get back a part of the life he lost to them over the years by compulsive gambling.Man,have some discipline and make amends where you try to get even a bit I told him.
