Baseball is Such a Frustrating Sport To Bet On

all the different variables in the game make it so damn difficult to find a matchup where everything is aligned the way you want for the outcome you want



I have been gambling on baseball for about a week now and I have had very good results (4-2) but I'm only betting 1 game a day because that's the only game that really looks appetizing to me...everything else is a giant mix up of variables where it's so difficult to determine the likely outcome

u missed the point of that thread, I was telling people to stop looking at bullsht like line movements and base your bets on logical analysis of the games/teams/sport/matchups



just keep it simple, if a game you are handicapping seems to have a vastly different line than what you predict the outcome to be, put money down on it




my frustration is that baseball is a very fcking hard sport to predict

looking at line movement is a big part of gambling. go and look at the line movement of games today.

it's not my record that I'm complaining about, it's the frustration in the sport



I do my analysis on the games, 8 out of 10 of them, I have no clue what's gonna happen

If I may,
You had a thread where you tried to say that we (The guys who try to find every angle) are making betting on sports to difficult, You said that we should just go with the trends in not exactly those words.

Then today you say how difficult baseball is, Well Im sure if you had a frustrating football year or NBA year, you would say the same thing about those sports.

Handicapping a game from all angles can be confusing, the beauty of it is when you truly find a game that fits the criteria your looking for, the results are euphoria.

Problem with most people is they are all action junkies, They have to bet not only everyday but every game if possible, While I am guilty of doing that in second half college football, Ill admit it, but then again that is where I excel, Ill have maybe 3 to 4 college games bet for an average Saturday and by the time Saturday is over, Ill have bet maybe 13 to 17 second half wagers.
