So we just moved into a new 2nd floor apartment on July 15th. I live in a suburb of Dallas-Ft.Worth in TX. It's been 100 or higher every day we've lived here. Here's your background info.
1. A/C runs non-stop every day from about 1pm-9:30pm and then intermittently overnight.
2. A/C filter is dirty. Fags from management have still not changed it.
3. Just put solar screening on a couple windows this past weekend that has reduced the amount of light/heat coming into the apartment I would say by 25%.
4. Direct Energy is our energy company.
Fellas, I am scared shitless to see this first bill. We have a friend who lives in the same complex on the 2nd floor who had a $195 electricity bill from June-July when it was 100+ for a lot of that bill. I am estimating that we will see the bill in somewhere between 10-15 days. Since I am probably going to have to go hold up a liquor store to pay for this ... figured I might as well have some fun with this before I go to prison and let you guys take some guesses at what the actual bill will be. I will post an actual picture of the dollar amount when we receive the bill for verification.
