    I'm going to bury myself... After grinding for years and always taking a loss like a man, this one today is just too much. I can't believe the Oakland Athletics call themselves a major league ball club when they can't hit, can't turn two, can't throw home, can't run the bases, etc.

    I don't want to be betting anymore if there's such atrocities going on... so I'm going to chase Oakland for a win which starts Friday in Tampa and will end on the 9th at Toronto. If they can't win and return my faith in competition, then I will be broke and unable to bet on sports.

    8/5: Moscoso @ Niemann -$500
    8/6: McCarthy @ Hellickson -$1000
    8/7: Cahill @ Cobb -$2000
    8/9: Harden @ TBD -$4000

    I expect them to lose every single one of these games and end my betting career.

                  It finally caught up to you huh destroyer?? Ur smart, get out early or else you'll end up like JJ Gold. Broke, bald and completely bitter...Destroyer, stick to arbs, middling, scalping...much less stress and a more productive bankroll at the end of the day....GL

                      It goes today... and what do the Pathletics do? They make the first out at third (caught stealing) which gives confidence to Niemann and the Rays. This ship is sinking and sinking quickly.

                                  This. If you are frustrated and going to do a chase, I would suggest a team that doesn't suck as bad (for the numerous reasons you mentioned).

                                          I'm martingale to lose you schmucks... Read the title, read the first post, etc. The point of this chase is to bury myself because I'd rather not be betting if Oakland can't win. I already said I believe Oakland will lose all these games so I'm exiting the industry, not trying to make money.

                                                          True, I could have. I still can. Don't care though. I would rather cement my hate for the Athletics for the rest of my life. Then in 20 years, ironically thank them for having ended my betting career and freeing up my life.

                                                          If I cared for the money, I'd be fading them, not chasing them!

                                                                  lol, i feel that way about Cliff Lee. When i bet with him, he gets rocked by a non-hitting team like the A's or Giants and when i bet against him, he throws a Complete game 1hitter. Not even joking i think i am 0-6 with games featuring Clifford

                                                                      To be honest, I might not do the last bet... 4k just to hate a team seems like a bit much.

                                                                      I suggest everyone get on the Oak town fade train as they have clearly thrown in the towel... The team sucks at everything.
