I think a lot of it has to do with baseball not being the type of sport which commands lots and lots of activity. Everyone seems to love football and basketball and thus things seem more alive when those seasons are in full swing.

It will help if the forum owners decide to promote soccer, tennis and other sports (olympics?) during the slow months of baseball season. Why don't they pay someone to do some write ups on soccer, tennis or the olympics for front page instead of only baseball?

Escpecially, when we are posting on here for free and the forum is still rocking against paid posters at other sites? When the football season kicks into gear, the mods can relax again, because it will take care of itself.

Site cannot be busy every night it is impossible, summer just about here and people do things, ect.

I wouldn't point to the staff really, the flow of the forum is dictated a lot by the members and I think that's the way it ought to be. Or else you will have a situation like EOG where the same few paid posters start all the threads.

Crazy solid post, EOG is a joke, it is 5 guys posting to each other. MoFo posts day and night 24 hrs a day. SBR has a lot of different posters posting which is good.

Agreed. Not condemning the staff here. I think they do a great job. If I didnt like them or the site, I wouldnt be here. BBD, youre one of the best in the business. No doubt. The potential here is unmatched. Anyone disagree? If i were to say, pick the top 10 posters of EOG and place them against the Top 10 posters of SBR, who would win? SBR easily. And thats with no one from SBR getting pay outs. How beautiful is that? I'm just venting....dont mind me....

Lot better to have 30 quality posters than 20...or 40 than 30....or 50 than 40. Slick, the Mods would add quality to the everyday threads til football season starts up. Bottomline. They would add quality year around, but now when the season is slow, it is much needed.
