just go downtown, more line options cheaper prices on everything. The glitz is so over hyped it is sickening. basically the strip blows.Comment -

Hilton for sheer size and betting options. As long as you know the rest of the property is a dump.
Palazzo and Emeril's offers great seating, great food and a good book. Not sure how book will be when Cantor takes over operations from Venetian.
Bellagio is very nice but kind of quiet.Comment -
Just came back from Vegas and I'm going back that same weekend. Mandalay has a big book...quiet during baseball season but it's a good place to catch Pete Rose betting on the horses. Aria has a great book. It's on the small side but it's brand new and the screens are great. Never been to Lagasse Stadium at Palazzo but everyone says it's great.Comment
