Fantasy sports will never feel the void of sports betting, its basically like comparing gay to straight.

You can bet big and win big but it is just not as cool as sports betting it is more similiar to poker. But you can get thousands down on your lineup if you wanted though the juice seems to kill you more in fantasy than sports betting.

id like it better if these places had 12 team draft leagues for the free ones.

pretty interesting stuff. i thought paypal deposits were cool, but i hadnt even considered the prospect of paypal withdraws. i kinda like that you only choose one pitcher. i also like small entry fee, big prize contests they offer. fanduel should display stats while youre picking your team- that'd be way better. or at least just for pitchers.

Click on the hyperlinked player's name on the draft screen, and it'll bring up player stats.

Juice is higher, but the "market" is a lot less efficient. Plenty of weak opponents out there. We monitor the number of profitable players pretty closely, and if it ever got too low we'd have to seriously consider lowering the fees on contests.

i know, i mean without clicking. like see it displayed so you may click someone with whom you are not so familiar that you feel they warrant a click.

but as someone with intimate knowledge of baseball who stays abreast of situations and player form, maybe no-stats displayed there puts me and those like me at somewhat of an advantage.

did you guys remove my draftstreet question (asking where their video was) and put it in another thread by itself?? thats censorship. we're big boys and can make our own decisions even if we have all the info- both sites are very different.

That's something we're looking at doing. The current stats screen was a quick and dirty solution to make something available sooner, but we do want to put key stats in the grid. As you've speculated, a lot of the better players hate the whole stats screen and would prefer that we provide as little information as possible, but it seems worthwhile to make the site beginner friendly as well.

Because the sports leagues get a cut and US biz like espn/cbs lobbied for an exemption. Supreme court ruled fantasy sports was a "game of skill"

couldn't agree more. I feel so sorry for all those guys who are just fantasy geeks that don't have the balls/brains to actually bet on a game.

Sorry not trying to bash a sponsor, just my opinion on fantasy sports

I just got buried because the Mets game is rained out that is why fantasy sports is a joke compared to sportsbooks unreal.
