A good friend of mine had a great idea for immigration reform. He said to treat our borders like a nightclub. Hot girls get in free without waiting. Ugly broads pay a reasonable entrance fee and guys pay 50k a head to get in. Under 21 and you aren't getting in unless you can pay 100k a head.

Don't forget that those $21 billion first got to be made... and most of them are made by hard work for below minimum wage. I've been places, and can tell you for a fact that groceries in the US are the cheapest in the (semi-) developed world and cheap illegal labor is a big part of the reason. So that's why nobody is rushing to kick all the illegals out.

If we got rid of all the corporate tax loopholes, we'd be swimming in so much money we wouldn't know what to do with it all. There are billions out there we could be getting every single day were it not for some chiseling politician who sold himself out. Wasn't it just six or eight months ago that we had the story of GE paying NO corporate income tax? That's nothing short of criminal and there probably thousands, if not tens of thousands, of similar examples that are just as bad, if not worse.

You dumbfucks need to realize America doesn't have a revenue problem. It has a spending problem. Yes the tax code needs to be simplified and all these crooks you dumbfucks keep electing need to stop holding out for loopholes for the richest constituent in their district or state. However 59% of all the spending is going to entitlements and welfare.

All you need to do is 2 things. If you phase out the world's largest ponzi schemes of Social Security and Medicare and all the welfare and introduce some actual personal responsibility on Americans, and stop this failure of a foreign policy that for the last 60 years has continued to invade and attack countries that neither attack nor threaten America in order to reduce the military budget to an actual level for defense instead of offense then America would be flush with cash and actually REDUCE taxes drastically.

Nobody disputes that so settle the fock down pal. Obviously spending started this but at this point no amount of cuts alone can save us. Tax hikes are now 100% needed in the short term.

Slash spending and add a few cents to sales taxes, other than groceries. Taxing corporations retards their growth and has a modest effect on employment in the long run. I'm not about taxing higher incomes just because they work smarter/harder, but if you want to buy a $80,000 car, throw a few more bucks in the pot for the guy who is trying to feed his family.

Of course you can when your expense are less than revenue.
