I kind of hang my head in shame on the Ancic pick since I had him favored over Ferrer a few weeks ago. Ferrer's grass ranking on my spreadsheet has gone up faster than anyone else I can remember.

Ferrer is in great form this year, and is a really bad match for Ancic - Ferrer is the best returner in tennis, neutralising Ancic's big weapon. Once it goes to a rally of any length it's not a contest, Ferrer is simply much the better player.

My picks were (from other post): Reynolds +270 @pinnacle, Seppi +230 @betlads, Ferrer evens @paddypower, Verdasco +110 @stanjames. Verdasco is looking really good against Berdych, shame I didn't go a decent stake size there. His serve has improved out of sight the last year.
