I work as a Product Director for Fanduel, and wanted to introduce myself. If anyone has questions or feedback about the site, you can email me at alex@fanduel.com. I'll also be checking in here periodically.

For those of you who haven't tried Fanduel yet, our contests are one day salary cap contests. You pick a lineup of players for a single day's games and win (or lose) based on the performance of your players in that day's games.

The freeroll posted by Lou above is a great way for SBR members to get familiar with the format.

Our standard contests range from heads up to tournament involving hundreds of players. All contests last just one day, and the buy-ins range from $5 up to $270. Since you can enter as many contests per day as you want, there's nothing stopping you from playing for very high stakes, as long as you can find opponents willing to take your action.

I think one of the things most of you will really appreciate is that deposits can be made by Paypal or **** CC and withdrawals can be made by Paypal (or check for $250+).

My Guess is that the pitchers will be up once they have been confirmed, remember that this free roll is for Friday, so a lot can happen till then regarding players.

You can get a full list of pitchers on the draft screen by unchecking the box that says 'Probable pitchers only' at the bottom of the players. Just keep in mind that it'll list everybody...not just those that are scheduled to pitch that day.

Starting around Wednesday morning, probable pitchers will be indicated and you won't need to do that to display the list.

pitchers get too many probably sometimes your pitchers will get more than your other 8 guys, you get 1 points for a K and per inning too so could get 20+ sometimes. And even the best hitters are under 4 points a game

I have been playing on this site daily all year. It's really enjoyable. I actually watch some baseball games because of the daily games I'm in. I'd highly recommend it to every one as good recreation.

ttwarrior1 - Not quite sure what you're describing. If you want to fill out a support ticket (including contest #) on Fanduel, we can take a look. The behavior of the 'quick replace' feature is pretty quirky. In general, if you're editing a lineup, unless you have entries a LOT of contests that day, you're better off editing by:
-Go to My Account tab.
-Click on contest.
-Click 'Edit entry' button (listed below lineup) and edit lineup using same screen as when you first entered it.
