Either way, he will be a total nonfactor this year. But he might squeak by the first couple of weeks, on the other hand that team figures to have such little offensive production so long as he doesn't quit or get hurt there may be more areas to point the finger at than Ricky.

We will make it a gentlemans bet. I'd say true odds that he misses the final cut should be around 2-1. He probably will make the team but very far from a lock. He needs a good preseason to land a roster spot imo.

Ricky Williams looked every bit the best player on the field the last time the Dolphins were together for one of their offseason practices. He ran with authority, he showed quickness, and he never let himself shift out of top gear, even in drills that didn't mean much.

Williams, with cartoon superhero muscles bulging out of his jersey sleeves, caught the eyes of anyone paying attention. No wonder he was the only player Dolphins football czar Bill Parcells congratulated with a fist bump as he was coming to the sideline after one workout.

I still say he will be lucky to be on the roster on opening day. If he is, its likely because thats the only way for the Do;phins to get make the money he owes. I still think they will cut him for the roster spot and write off the money.

At $730,000, Williams is nice insurance with the uncertainty behind Ronnie Brown's status to open the 2008 season. With Brown likely less than full speed to start the season, Ricky could earn a role as part of a two-back tandem provided he's fully recovered from his own torn pectoral injury ..................

He's still a roster spot and he don't play special teams. I hope he does make it, I like him, ex longhorn. Still, 45 man rosters make it tough unless you can play.

Sounds like Ricky Williams didn't sign SBR John's football back in the day...

RW was recently busted for smoking a big joint. He faces lifetime ban from football. He is a worthless piece of shit.

Since when do #2 rb's have to play special teams? Ricky might even get more carries than Brown depending on how he comes back from injury... trust me Ricky is on the Dolphins roster this year for sure

I think he is better than Brown. But I don't care if you put Dickerson behind that line, nobody is going to prosper behind that line.
