Federer now -147 to win Wimbledon
    That +120 looks great now.

I think there might be a spot to hedge out of my Rafa bet in the quarters or semis, don't ask me why but I just have a feeling this Wimbledon won't play out as automatic as people believe.

I backed Rafa because of the # I got, more so than anything else, so in that regard I feel it was a profitable bet but with Djoko out Roger's path and brilliance on grass, combined with his 60+ win streak on this surface make him deserving of being the clear favorite..

I can't say that line surprises me at all Crazyl. I mean after all this tourney is on grass.

        On paper yes.

Roger will make finals for sure.

Doesn't surprise me either with his biggest threat to keep him from finals out, plus he hasn't even broken a sweat so far really. I am just disappointed I didn't follow up on my thought process backing him at +120 or +115 when I could have.

We talked about this earlier. Me and Crazyl. The Finals will be Fed/Nadal. No way I dont take Fed at Wimbledon -140 to win. Are some of you really gonna take Nadal and the price here. Thats like taking Fed against Nadal in the French. Fed will make it 6 in a row and if you can get him at -140 right now...Take it!

Panic guesstimate the line again, if that finals go down what do you set the line at? Do it for Roddick too... Obviously he'd be a pretty sizable favorite against Andy..

Roddick wont even factor in here. It will be Fed/Nadal. If we all waited til the Finals..I could see Fed-320 in that situation.

It will basically be the odds that Nadal was favored over Fed in the French, but reversed.

I don't know man, I agree 100% about Federer making finals, and Nadal is #2 and all but you don't even think it's possible he won't make it? It's early but Roger has impressed me more than any other male player.

Fed will NOT miss the Finals, Crazyl. This is his favorite tourney. He will win again and make it 6 in a row. If someone wants to give me -140 on it, I'll roll. Fed is easy money here.

Crazyl, FYI if you really wanted to, you could take that bet at 5dimes and then matchbook has Fed to lose +200. Just saying it could be a nice 7.7% scalp!

I might even do it myself...

Not saying Nadal would win, but he has gotten better in each of the last two Wimbledon's vs. Fed. 4 set loss in '06 with two tie breaking sets and the 5 setter last year. I think your better odds in the final if the two meet would be taking Fed in 4 or 5 sets. I might bite on Nadal depending how he looks the next few rounds.

I think the last guy Fed wants to meet in final is Nadal. He is intimidated by him and the pressure might be so great on him in final he will choke, If Nadal gets to finals and beats him, Feds career is over. Don't forget to factor this in.

Fed is praying to see Nadal in this Final...his favorite tourney. He wants payback. Nadal will get run over here. Fed has motivation now.

Good find. If he does lose, I say it's only to Nadal. Being that I backed him at 4-1 I'll just let that ride out.

I wouldn't bet on Federer or Nadal this early. Is onlt the 2nd round and anything can happen. There are some good players left in each bracket. Federer is not a done deal by any means.

I have to fade Federer at that price. I am not sure he should be favored over Nadal if they meet, and he simply hasn't beaten that many quality players this year. We'll see how it plays out.

Nadal almost beat Fed last year in this event , no way I would bet Fed in a final against him. The choke factor would be too great.

No one will beat Fed in his own house. He is as comfortable and dominant at Wimbledon, as Nadal is at the French.
