Eagles made a LOT of good signings thus far... Why they paid Asante what they did is beyond me, though. He's more like a tall T Buck, at best. They guy cannot press anything. That's why the Pats gave him up. That said, Philly has the best 1-3 CB tandom in the NFL right now, slightly more talented than GB's array of Sammy Shields/Woodson/Tramon Williams (imo the best CB last year far and away).
Philly has so many holes right now, though. Buying the BEST CB in the NFL over many prior seasons will help, but it doesn't solve their issues.Comment -

He's a decent corner, but not sure about all the hype. Check Oakland's schedule last year, he only played against maybe one dominant reciever and that was Fitzgerald, a game which Fitgerald cought the game winner on him. He didn't play against Johnson because he was hurt that game. Not to mention, he was in the AFC West. Name one great AFC West reciever in the last few years. He was guarding TE's his early years, and a corner that big should be able to do that.Comment -
Nice pickup, but I still like Dallas over them.
Good offense always beats good defense. Romo, Bryant, Austin, Witten, and 3 Rbs, too much offense. Teams like the Giants, Packers and Saints, should still be able to put up points on them.
Maybe a division contender, dont favor them to win SB. Nnamdi a tad bit overrated. 2nd best corner, but not as elite as Revis.Comment -
