    I have a WSOP question.
"This year’s World Series of Poker, held at Rio Las Vegas, had a record 75,672 entries in 58 events, creating the largest prize pool in WSOP history: $191,999,010."

so you take 75,672 players each buying in at $10,000 per players would yield about $756,720,000

but yet, the prizes paying out is a shared $191,999,010.

Where is the rest of the money and where does it go?

Your numbers are off and I think 5-10% goes to "fees".

Some events are only $1k, 2.5k, 5k. etc.

Not all of the events are 10K, however, yes, they do pay out 90-95% of the money collected. Remember, your just thinking of what gets paid out for the Main Event. There are 57 other events that have winners that get paid various amounts.

4.2% held for the house and 1.8% held for tournament staff. If you cash in an event, they give you the calculation for a suggested 1.5% gross tip for the dealers. It's kind of obnoxious.
