Breaking News: Vince Young Signs 1 year deal with Philadelphia Eagles!!

One of my favorite players in the NFL (ironically one of the most hated by the public/media followers) has signed with PHILLY



Big move by philly!! no worries if vick goes down, vy can play and vy can win. with toys like the eagles have, and a coach who actually wants him to succeed, vy can help put the eagles in a position to win a ball game, when given the call of duty

As expected, the Philadelphia Eagles will be filling their void at backup quarterback with a guy who has won 30 of 47 career starts.

Vince Young, cut by the Titans and unwanted by any team that has an opening at starter, has agreed to terms with the Eagles, per Albert Breer of NFL Network. Young will sign a one-year deal.

It’s a great move for both sides. The Eagles need a backup for Mike Vick, and Young will benefit from the coaching that Andy Reid can provide.

The best news? That Favre-to-Philly talk can end less than a week after it started.

LOL, in no way am I confident in Vince Young if Vick goes down. Are you serious about this? When has he proven he can carry a team? A team obviously can carry him, and he has won games.
But can he carry a team, well no. He is a good back up, though. He can just fill in for a game or two and not kill you, I guess thats what you expect from your back up.

The guy isn't too bad...If the fukk could ever get his head on straight and stay focused, he'd be a good starter.

But good pick up by the Eagles. It's about 83% chance that Vick goes down at one point during the year.

I don't think Andy Reid would ever call the media when his QB goes off the radar for a couple hours to get his head clear. Despite the high expectations of unforgiving Philly fans, this is a great place for VY to regroup.
