He got the same money as did Matt Schaub and Aaron Rogers after 3 years of riding the bench.
Not saying hes going to turn out to be either one of these guys but I think using those 2 guys contracts as comparison is fair.
This was a good move for AZ imo.... those of you shitting on this move, what else would you have suggested they do? (clearly AZ was in desperate need of a QB)

Ive read that 10x now. Why did they give up too much and why did they overpay.
Its a starting QB for a starting CB. If im making this deal and Im giving up a QB for a CB im gonna want a lil something extra too. A 2nd rounder sounds fair.... and as I already stated Kolbs contract is the same as the one Schaub and Rodgers got at this stage of their careers, you dont see him as a similar player?
