BetEd.com withdrawals - very poor IMO
Been playing there for at least 8 months, finally making a withdrawal, and finally eligible to do so after the echeck cleared.

Was told that it would be over 1 week to receive it back into my bank account. I could probably see if it was an actual check mailed out.

To me that's totally unacceptable and ridiculous. Really pissed off about it.

Anybody else play there? Is it really that long?

Last I read the e-Check withdrawals took up to 5 business days, if I recall correctly. Perhaps that has changed recently, how long exactly did they say it would take, up to 10 or something?

Sometimes there are delays that happen from time to time, however Crazyl is correct. It usually takes 5 business days before receiving your funds. Also, to my knowledge they do not do book-to-book transfers with anyone.

An SBR poster noted a while back that they also allow you to expedite the clearing process after depositing, by scanning a printout of your banks statement showing the charge hitting and being deducted from your checking account.

I thought that was an interesting feature and even suggested by email for 5Dimes to do the same, as they currently take a couple of weeks in business days to clear on the recieving end.

They told me 48 hours to process, then 5-7 business days.

And no, they didn't permit me to send them a bank statement showing it cleared before their time frame. Had to wait the full time.

Very disappointed, should've used Bet Jamaica - would've had my money today on the debit card.

Yeah 5 business days sounds about right, but remember they process generally within 24hrs, it just takes time to hit your account. In the the future, if you re-up with them via Moneygram/Western Union, the money is available free and clear and you can set up a cashout via money transfer if you call them.

Ive played at BetED a few times and my buddy has a long standing account. After the instant E-Check clears in 5 business day you are able to withdraw (you must fax a DL copy and voided check before your 1st withdraw). Whenever I withdraw, I request on Monday and next Monday the money is direct deposited in my bank account. Same goes with my buddy.

Never had any problems. Ive made maybe 5 withdraws and my buddy has made around 15ish.

Alright, I suppose that was something they may have done in the past. And to be honest with you I don't think the time they quoted you is all that bad, hell some books won't even get checks to you that quick. Why does the wait disappoint you so much? Seems it may only take 2 business days longer than their normal time.

I've never done an Echeck withdrawal. I'm used to same day processing, same day moneygram etc. Wanted to get my money quickly and into a book with 10 cent lines. Now that money is tied up for a week.

I don't mind the time frame either, at least they pay. Even if they got you a paper check in three days, it may be a few days more before it would clear.

Thats why playing at books that offer book2book transfers is always the best route to go.

So why stick with them for eight months? It's widely known that BetEd is not a top-notch book, but they do pay.

BetEd could stand to improve in a lot of ways but their e-Check payout time seem fine to me. Your best bet is probably just going with a book that offers speedier payout options.

I played there on and off for 8 months. I liked their dog lines.

You're right about book to book transfer.

I have to wait a week now and I've learned a valuable lesson in choosing books. Really kicking myself for this, but oh well.

Thats why I would suggest playing at BetJamaica to you sir. They have a winning 4-teamer for you in regards to offering dimelines for bases, Echeck deposits, B2B transfers, and of course the debit card option. Not to mention the best part about BetJam is the fact that they are a hassle free book.

money still hasnt' been taken out of my account. This whole experience will affect my future play there.

They brag about being the only book that gives unlimited free payouts, but that don't do it for me. Waiting over a week isn't worth free payouts or big bonuses, lesson learned.

Got it today. The whole process took a week. I learned a lesson about the way withdrawals are done now.

Shouldn't have bitched that much, seeing that's their policy.
