It's just a different class of football...I've said it many times...the MLS is where players go to die and still collect a check. Guys like Beckham and Henry can't accept the fact their getting old, so they go to the MLS and pretend they're players again.

To be fair to any of these "all star" team be they MLS or Airtricity League (Irish). All they are doing is getting the best 11 from the league and putting them in a team and expecting them to work we'll. The team hasn't played together before and in fact, they are used to playing AGAINST each other on a yearly bases.

They are not used to each other at all and prob only had 1-2 training sessions together and they are expected to defeat the likes of United? Come on! MLS or IRISH league may not be the strongest leagues in the world but don't let this team of eleven players reflect the quality or substance of their league.

Exactly....that game didn't give a clear indication on how good the MLS is.....but we all know it's a joke.

Personally, I've never watched an MLS game. Not out of choice, I've just never seen it on. It wouldn't be considered a strong league, it's pretty weak and so is the Irish league but my point above is still valid. Man Utd took on an Irish League 11 and beat them 7-1 yet when REAL MADRID first team took on SHAMROCK ROVERS, MADRID only won 1-0 in the 90 minute by a suspect goal. Why? Because SHAMS know how to play as a team and worked as a unit. The Irish league 11 couldn't because they never have before. simple.

Right....I get what your saying...I agree..

The MLS sucks for different reasons....not because the all-star team got beat by a top EPL team.

Also Manchester Utd beat the Seattle Sounders 7-0.
