    can somebody explain "friendly" regarding soccer?
    always saw this term but never understood the meaning. whats the significance compared to a regular match? and in regards to betting what are the factors?

      exhibition would be the best word. some teams play friendlies midseason, usually its smaller leagues like MLS against bigger sides. usually more subs allowed and more open games.

          Big clubs use friendlies to get match fit for their season nothing gained by winning them except for team building and confidence
