Giants have score the 5th least runs in MLB.

Giants offense is harmless but it doesn't matter. Their pitching from the 1st to 9th inning is devastating, and the best in the league. Hell their best releiver IMO, Sergio Romo, is 5th in use rate on their team. This team is built on pitching, and the oft INJ Beltran does not change much. Beltran is a loser, who should be happy to be traded to a team full of winners.

Beltran was clutch for Houston right before he signed a huge nonsensical contract. If he can be clutch he will be well worth it. All the other crap is meaningless until the game is on the line...especially for the Giants who's pitching keeps them in games.

I'm a huge Giants fan. But I knew the only way to get Beltran was to trade Wheeler, and I don't like that. He is too injury prone. I really hope they are just using him until the end of the year, and then offering arbitration which he will reject allowing the Giants pick up 1st round draft picks.
