You know me, I never use the L word, but Federer is absolutely not going to lose. Throw him in a parlay if you want, maybe even take a look at a prop of some sort, he's going to steamroll easily.

Either bet Safin + games, or take Djoko straight up.

I would be careful fading Ferrer, although I don't see him making it too deep in this tournament, he's probably the best pure returner in the game aside from Rafa.

I like Gonzo and Verdasco too, if you want more of a technical/stats type answer I'll get back to this thread tonight, these are just my opinions off the top of my head.

Got to be careful on Hewitt, he is not in the best of shape but he can get himself fired up and play through it, he's another guy thats not lasting long in this tournament so yeah the play would be to fade him. I don't know if it's this round though, will take a look at that shortly.

Djoko vs Safin
Djoko has won 10 of his last 12 on grass, both losses to Rafael Nadal. He's played Safin once in his career 3 years ago and was destroyed, but times change. Safin isn't the biggest fan of grass either. My prediction, Djoko wins the first two sets, loses the third, and closes it out in 4.

Andreev vs Ferrer
No play for me. I'm not a big fan of the odds offered on Ferrer here, by the same token, I have a feeling he'll ultimately win the match. I think it'll be fairly competitive, though if you were to examine the h2h stats and different factors the play would lean Andreevs way- nothing big though.

Fernando Gonzalez vs Simone Bolelli
Gonzo leads series 2-0, some tightly contested games though, I like Gonzo to win but I'd take Bolelli + games.

F. Verdasco vs Olivier Rochus
Verdasco's in great form but again these aren't the most attractive of odds, not much to really say here I only see Fernando dropping this if he wants to give it away. They last met 3 yrs ago and Fernando leads 1-0, which is somewhat irrelevant but just an extra nugget to chew on.

Hewitt vs Montanes
While Hewitt is pretty messed up with his hip injury, and todays long, grueling type of marathon match didn't help matters, he couldn't have asked for a more favorable playing style to oppose in r2. Take Hewitt in straight sets I'd say.

I enjoy writing stuff.. There are plenty better tennis cappers than myself though, I wouldn't presume to even be the most knowledgeable on SBR. Had a real nice run but unsustainable, all I want is to end Wimbledon on a positive note. And maybe make some people here a few bucks...

Number one rule of tennis besides never betting on women's tennis is to NEVER bet for or against Safin. He will kill you.He has some of the best tools in the game and if he puts them all together he can beat anyone at any time. Then on the other hand there is the Safin that will come out and lose first round to a player ranked in the low 100's. You never know what you will get with him so the best advice is to just stay away from him. If you had to bet that match though the safer of the two bets would be DJO but I think there is alot of juice on that
I believe Montanes is mainly a clay court player so Hewitt should win but at odds of -1750..no way in hell given hewitt's health and his inconsistancy.
Fed's odds are way to jacked up for the match.he will win easily but you have to bet your house to win a couple g on him.Not worth it
Verdasco?Another classic player that chokes with the best of them. -504 for him?No way in hell
There isn't much to bet tomorrow.If you want to take a chance and get some very very good odds, maybe look at a player like T.Johansson over Baghdatis at +485. Bagh has been playing crap all year and can not to be trust at a price of -535.
If you want to make some good money in this tournament I would suggest waiting a couple days until all of the no names are weeded out of this tournament so we can see some lines that are actually bettable instead of having to lay money on -450 or more favorites.

Ferrer is playing his best tennis of the year and should cruise easily

Safin +965 Djokovic

The Djoker is on the way up but I give Safin a greater than 10% chance of taking him down on sheer talent. I watched his first round match and his peak was as high as Djokovic's.

Seppi -212 Serra

I love Serra and hate betting against him but I have to make this play. My numbers say Seppi is clearly above 68% in this matchup on grass.

Stadler -125 Belucci

Think of this one as laying a 3 point favorite in the NFL at -2.5. A solid edge here.

Vesnina -149 Rodina

Rodina hasn't fully returned to form whereas Vesnina has actually improved from both the baseline and the net.

Del Potro looks good money in that game against Wawrinka, but it's way too close to call, it's a five setter for certain and I'd steer clear.

For an outside bet, Hanescu is 6.5 on Pinnacle against Berdytch, he hasn't looked too great of late so Hanescu looks good to back, then lay off at some point during the match.

I like Gicquel today at 1.362, he's been pretty good of late and looks overpriced, especially for an accumulator/parlay. I also fancy Ferrer at 1.366 and Ferrerro at 1.392.

Yeah, it's very early but I think most of us missed a bet on Federer's future. I kind of realized it a few hours before the tournament, then once I read that nearly 99% of the media and everyone was picking Rafa. This is Federer's tournament to lose. Oh well, I got a real good price on Rafa.
