the bengals could get a 3rd round pick for palmer but instead mike browns ego is gonna get in the way and theyre gonna let an asset go to waste. they already drafted dalton... why not get somebody else for palmer who could help your team

This early retirement for Palmer is good for him. He never played the same since the playoff game when he got hurt. He refuses to go all out and thinks he 'smarter' for doing so. He probably is, but that means he does not perform at the top level.

I understand it sounds like sore grapes coming from a bungles fan, but people around here really have questioned him over the last two/three years. My dad hates him lol, and a lot of fans agree with him. Go back and checkout the last play of the season last year, he had a man WIDE OPEN to win the game (or tie, I don't remember) and he completely missed him, threw it into the second row of the stands on forth down.

Ya I dont think he just walks away. When I hear this story I think of Keith Pronger. Wife probably doesn't like the cold weather.

Carson Palmer had no excuses last year, He had everything around him and it was all on him last season, I remember last year at around this time talking to my regualr drinkers and football fans at my sportsbar telling them Its all on Carson, I took a wait and see aproach and started going against Cincy after about week 3, He had no excuses to struggle, So he was Cincys problem last year.

I was hoping to see him back under center this season as he is great fade material.
