Ellis ISland steak special is awesome, The $10 bbq is even better(smoked beans are great), grab some metro pizza for $15 on your way out as well. All 3 restaurants are great. Best value in vegas.

I usually stay at Ballys, and this is a very short 3 min. walk from the Bally's sports book at the end of that weird underground mall/food court at Bally's.

I hear the Wynn has a buffet that can't be beat (except by the Bellagio).

For a non-buffet restaurant downtown try Tinoco's Kitchen inside the Las Vegas Club. It's on the corner of Fremont and Main Street.

i think the steak special comes with a micro brew. or a micro root beer.
Tinoco's kitchen is excellent, hidden gem.

Yes, the Grotto at the Golden Nugget is great...Good bartenders, good food!
