Historically the odds of scoring at least 3 runs in any given inning is roughly 6.5%

To do that 5 times in a row is almost impossible. Roughly a 1 in 860,000 chance of that happening.

Wish I had seen that game. Forget the 1 in 860,000 stat - I'm sure the odds of a team scoring 2, 4, 2, 4, 3 are equally impressive - but it's always fun to watch a position player pitch.

at least he didn't give up any of the 20 runs in his inning of pitching. saw him toss a couple heaters in there at 87. Not bad for a non-pitcher.
