Fair enough point, nothing is for sure and should never be the only consideration. That said though there is no other park in MLB where wind is such a strong factor. Not a lock by any means, but knowing what the weather is doing is more important at Wrigley than any other field they play at. That's why you can't bet an overnight total there but you can anywhere else in MLB.

What I was pointing out is that you should also cap the pitchers in a game like this, even at Wrigley, to check if they throw lots of sinkers which will induce ground outs and double plays. If the pitchers get hit for lots of flyouts then the over is a good choice on a windy day with the wind blowing out.
