The Phillies get off the shnide tonight - they have lost 5 straight.

Moyer has been steady for them. Since May 16th, he is 5-1 with a 3.20 ERA - he has been solid on the road this year - 4-1, 2.76.

Phillies offense has struggled of late. Burrell, Utley, and Victorino are a combined 3 for last 59. Time for breakout.

Oakland's Joe Blanton -- less than impressive.

A's are 4-12 in his starts this year. He gave up 8 runs in 3 innings his last start vs. AZ, and is now 0-4, 7.94 ERA his last 4.

Phillies get it rolling on offense tonight vs. a struggling Blanton and end this losing streak.

Its alright, Slick. I took the Philly's as well tonight. They controlled the game, but throw up in the bottom of the 7th. Thats gambling. Tommorrow's a new day, you are right.

What happened to Phila?? I think maybe they were hitting over their heads lately. I still do not like Howard, all he does is go for homers and you cannot win consistently with guys like that and he strikes out a lot.
