Wire transfers, TD Canada Trust and Betfair

I have tried 3 times to transfer funds from Betfair to my TD Canada Trust account. Each transfer costs 45.00 dollars. I didnt know why the transfers were being rejected. My bank kept telling me it was Betfairs mistake and Betfair was telling me it was my banks fault.

Yesterday I call my bank and ask why my third attempt that the transfer was rejected. TD says, it was because Betfair had used my first initial on the tranfers and not my whole first name. I was beyond pissed off at that point.

I'm not really sure who to be mad at. The person at Betfair was very polite and tried to help me. A few of the other reps at Betfair punted my call... but overall theyve tried to help.

The people at TD are idiots and the chick who i talked to at my branch was a complete bitch to me. Easyline <telephone banking> is half in Pakistan so I dont think they understood my calls, which is garbage because they are handling my money so there is no room for a communication breakdown.

Betfair is going to send me a cheque this 1 time and I hope they give me the money that I paid for the wire transfer fees back as this was not my fault and I could not change my name on the transfer form.

Im not mad at Betfair, but Im just mad at my bank and the whole situation in general.

Here's an update on the situation.

Betfair sent me a cheque. Just checked my bank balance tonight... Guess what... The cheque bounced!

WTF dude. Come on now. I just want my money.

Do you think Betfair will do a book transfer... like deposit the funds into my matchbook or pinnacle account or something.

The only options they gave me were wire deposit, which has failed and **** transfer. only prob is i only have ********** and an american ****.

Listen do as i do make bank transfers to catch your dough from them books,you will save yourself a whole lot of aggravations that way.I know these suckers cost but they're worth it in the end IMO.
Also open yourself a overseas account ,if possible with the bank(s) that does business with the book(s)you do business with and access your cash via a card or once your money is all there you can get it transfer to a local T.O. bank branch.
I got 3 accounts in the uk(Isle of Man)one for Matchbook,Betfair and Tradesports respectively and i do ALL MY BANKING locally strictly with the credit unions.
Anyway i think you will get ALL your money SOON,i am with betfair also and they are about as solid as their is in this racket,i wouldn't worry if i was you.GOOD LUCK NONETHELESS MAN!

Dude, I swear to God that Betfair bounced a cheque on me.

TD canada trust said they declined all my bank transfers from Betfair cuz they used my first initial instead of my whole first name.... C'MON!!!

I'm not a big overseas gamer, so opening bank accounts overseas is pointless.

I dont know if they will transfer via Neteller, as im canadian so im not sure if neteller will let me transfer the min to betfair to get them to transfer my 1000.00 balance.
