It's weird that you post this because it was in 2009 (very next year) when I said to myself that Kobe just didn't seem to quite have that same hop that he used to have. 2009 was the beginning of the noticeable decline.

really needed a monster 7 Ft. center... to get anything big going..

without Shaq, and Gasol, and Bynum... far less success..

i know MJ had Pippen, but Kobe played with multiple MVPs winners...
