Excellent choice. Maybe for me, if it was just one single game, I might choose the 1933 All-Star Game, the first one with 16 eventual Hall of Famers that played in the game and several more that never even got into action, plus three Hall of Famers serving as managers/coaches.

Only big time prize fight I saw was Larry Holmes against Tex Cobb, and the only thing that made that big was How-ard Co-sell never broadcast another heavyweight fight after that if my memory is correct. I was not impressed, give me the Golden Glove kids any day of the week.

WillieBee, had I not seen it with my own 2 eyes, I would actually have a boxing match as one of my top 5 events to see. And that would be Micky Ward v. Arturo Gatti. Did anyone here see the war these guys had? It still ranks in my top 5....no, in my top 3 of one of the best competitive matches ever in boxing. And their rematch was just as impressive.
